A long & proud history
ROOTS BACK TO 1898
K. LUND Offshore’s roots can be traced back to 1898, when Lund and Vennemo founded K. Lund & co A/S, which later became Maskin K.LUND.
In 1902 we started to distribute Ingersoll Rand – which makes us their oldest distributor.
The Stavanger branch was taken over by three employees in 2000,
and established as K.LUND Offshore AS.
In 2016 we once again joined forces with Maskin K. LUND – which from 2019 became 100% owned by K. LUND Offshore AS.
The way we work
TOTAL PRODUCTIVITY MANAGEMENT (TPM)
K. LUND Offshore uses the work method known as the TPM model. TPM is not about advanced methods, but more efficient and easy tools to improve and streamline production.
The difference between a production system such as TPM and a normal production system can be defined as flow efficiency and resource efficiency. Focusing on flow, TPM attempts to minimize loss of time per unit while the goal of resource efficiency is to exploit resources in the most efficient way.
Our goal is to offer the product the customer wants, with the right quality, at the right time. We achieve this through continuous improvement, clear communication, mutual respect and by challenging each other to get better together.
